[Track & Field] Records fall for V-Hawks at UW-Stout OpenPublished by
MENOMONIE, Wis. – A contingent sprinters and field athletes hit new bests for the Viterbo University men's and women's track and field teams at Saturday's UW-Stout Open. A week after winning two events, freshman Kayla King (FR/St. Croix, V.I.) led the V-Hawks, running the fast time in the women's 60 meter dash prelims, and finishing first overall in the finals in 7.96. Also competing in the 200 meter dash, King finished fifth overall in 27.09. With that time, King has run the fastest 60 and 200 meter times in the Midwest Collegiate Conference this season.
