Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Battling conference competition and 25 mile per hour wind gusts on a challenging Jones Park course, freshman Meredith Jones (Apple Valley, Minn.), finished third overall to qualify for the NAIA Cross Country Championship. Jones' performance highlighted the V-Hawk's third place team finish at the Midwest Collegiate Championship. The V-Hawk's 94 points and 3rd place finish was an improvement of 16 points and 1 place over the 2012 conference championship.
