Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Battling conference competition and 25 mile per hour wind gusts on a challenging Jones Park course, senior Michael Lessor (Kaukauna, Wis.), and freshman William Jeffries (Kallispell, Mont.) finished third and fifth overall to qualify for the NAIA Cross Country Championship. Lessor and Jeffries' performances highlighted Viterbo University's  fourth place team finish at the Midwest Collegiate Conference Championship. The V-Hawk's 82 points and 4^th place finish was an improvement of 39 points and 1 place over the 2012 conference championship.
